You basically have carrier oils and "butters" or solids like coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter. Your carrier oils can be olive oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, etc. You gently melt the butters into the other oils in a double boiler or similar then add your water portion and blend in a blender or I used my immersion blender - instant lotion! I just need a chance to work out the formula but you could make some using coconut oil, shea butter and olive oil that you buy at a health store. It's that simple! It was actually surprisingly easy.
