Hi Auburn, that is great! I have a hard enough time here in Seattle with out (usually) limited sunshine and lots of rain. If you are planning to garden though you should pick up Four Season Harvest by Eliot Cole. He lives in Maine or Vermont I think and has lots of info on extending seasons, hoop houses, etc which would probably really benefit you.

I was just thinking of you today as I made bread! I've been experimenting (unsuccessfully) with mash dough and the flavor is great but the loaves are really dense so I finally broke down and made some regular bread for my poor husband.

Almost done with canning and then I can do more baking. Hugs to you!

Poor Pot Pie :). Would it be possible to place some light netting under the high roost, at least temporarily?

Your posts always brighten my day, Annette. Thank you.
